// About Azard

We created Azard for one simple reason: climate adaptation needs to become manageable.

Our mission is to bring scientific expertise, engineering and technology to businesses, translating the complexity of climate risks into business language — damages, business interruption, rising costs, action priorities — and helping companies become resilient in a changing climate.

Climate adaptation must scale.

// Our convictions
  1. Hazard is not the risk.

    Knowing that a site is exposed to heat, floods or drought is not enough to make decisions.

    Risk emerges from the interaction between a hazard, a site, assets, teams, operations and flows. This is the impact chain companies need to understand in order to act.

  2. What is not quantified is rarely acted upon.

    As long as adaptation is expressed only through maps, scores or climate scenarios, it struggles to enter business decisions.

    It needs to be translated into business impacts: euros, days of downtime, avoided costs, investment priorities and comparable risk levels.

  3. Isolated assessments will not be enough.

    Adaptation cannot be managed sustainably through one-off analyses, scattered deliverables and files that are difficult to maintain.

    Faced with portfolios of tens, hundreds or thousands of sites, companies need tools to consolidate, compare, prioritize and monitor their risks over time.

  4. Resilience will be collective, or it will not happen.

    Adaptation involves field teams, business units, finance, risk, sustainability, suppliers and sometimes local territories.

    It requires a shared language and coordination tools to move from diagnosis to action.

// Our pillars

Three pillars to make adaptation manageable.

Field

We start from the operational realities of companies: sites, infrastructure, critical equipment, operating constraints and business continuity.

This field understanding enables us to identify real vulnerabilities, model impact chains and define concrete adaptation actions.

Science

We leverage climate data, risk assessment methods and research to build robust and transparent models.

This scientific rigor enables us to translate climate complexity into indicators that companies can understand, compare and use.

Technology

We develop a platform to industrialize physical climate risk analysis and make large-scale management possible.

This technology enables companies to consolidate data, model impacts, prioritize actions and monitor adaptation pathways over time.
